In the last blog post, I wondered what it was that always brings me back to the US. While driving for hours through fascinating landscapes on wonderful roads – if possible, never use the Interstate or another fast highway, but take the route over a mountain pass or a small diversion through some little towns – I figured it out:
It was not (only) the sites to see, but the roads in between.
