The quote above sums up quite well my approach to photography: I want to make (not take) a picture of what I see, what I feel, and what I want to show, and yes, this amounts to quite a lot of concept work. (BTW, we need to have at least an idea of a concept in all that we do.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And, of course, framing or better: what’s inside the frame – is a big part of this concept. Now you should know why I chose this domain for my work… \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I do IT stuff for a living, but photography to feel alive. Photography for my is “only” a hobby, I don’t and I don’t wanna earn money with it, I strictly do it for recreational and let’s say artistic reasons (well, if you have an interesting project, try to convince me<\/a> \ud83d\ude09 ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In photography, I’m interested in people photography, mostly portraits, boudoir and artistic nudes, in architecture photography and the contrast between urban and country live, and as well in landscapes, where I try to portrait locations I visit during my travels. Mostly the Southwest of the US. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I almost only work in black & white – not for the artsy look of it, but for the minimalism – if grey tones are not enough to transport what I want to tell, the photo is no good. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the pandemic I started again with analog photography, learning photography again from scratch (but this time, for real!), and I develop my own films and prints. But I like digital as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I work with a Hasselblad 500 C\/M, a Hasselblad 907x, a Fujifilm X-E3 when I’m travelling light, and sometimes with a Panasonic Lumix FZ-2000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
